José Luís Ramos - Master Ramos, born in Paraíba do Sul. He began training capoeira in the 70s with Master Cauã, in 1979 he joined the Grupo Senzala, being formed into Corda Vermelha in 1990 by Master Peixinho. Since 1993, he has been traveling the world spreading his art and teaching for several capoeira groups. His work is represented in several states in Brazil and in several other countries, teaching in GYM's, social projects such as PROJETO CAPOEIRAMOS, which works with ONGs and poor communities in Rio de Janeiro. He was the forerunner of the Senzala Group in Rio de Janeiro's West Zone. Throughout these years he has been one of the highlights in the world of capoeira, organizing events of great importance as the international event INTERCÂMBIO CULTURAL RODA MUNDO CAPOEIRA, in which the most important icons of capoeira from Brazil and the world participate. Master Ramos, as well as Master Toni and Master Steen, besides being one of the responsible people, is a guardian of the ILÊ DE SEU PEIXINHO.
